This department deals with conducting out-reach community dental camps for diagnosing , treating and also creating awareness for dental problems in general population. They also measure the prevalence of dental problems in our region and plan measures to eradicate it.
The dental camps conducted by this department also acts as a primary referral system for far off patients to come and avail facilities of the dental college. All the community programs like oral cancer screening , oral health screening , school health program are conducted with cooperation from this department. A Satelite dental clinic also functions in collaboration with Rahara Ramkrishna Mission, Khardah under the aegis of this department.
