MDS

The Department of Public Health Dentistry primarily imparts education and training in the subjects of Public Health, Dental Public Health, Epidemiology, Research Methodology and Biostatistics. The Department is delivering comprehensive (preventive and curative) treatment and also imparting oral health care education to various sectors of the community. The Department also runs satellite clinics and Tobacco Cessation Clinic. It also maintains a well-equipped modern mobile dental van for the outreach programs.

The outreach programs include screening and treatment in dental camps for the common people. The Department conducts various research programs and is also involved in guiding others for bio-statistical solutions for the purpose of research.
