SARDAR JODH SINGH AUDITORIUM
GNIDSR has a STATE OF THE ART 500 Seater air conditioned AUDITORIUM at the SARDAR JODH SINGH BLOCK. It was inaugurated on 1st Feb 2020 to commemorate the 100th Birth Centennial Celebration of our Founder Chairman Late Sardar Jodh Singh ( 1920-2018 ) . The auditorium houses state of the art acoustics and audiovisual aids. It serves as a beacon of imparting knowledge and opportunities to our students through various regional and national scientific conferences and seminars conducted in it.
To name a few , the institution here hosted the prestigious 2017 Eastern Zonal Conference of Indian Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathologists , partnered for the 42nd Indian Society of Periodontology National Conference and also hosted the Surgeons Masterclass in Feb 2017 with the Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons of India. GNIDSR serves as a beacon of knowledge and excellence for Dentistry in Eastern India , and Sardar Jodh Singh Auditorium represents this very excellence for our institution.
DR R. AHMED EXAMINATION HALL
GNIDSR has a 200+ seater STATE OF THE ART air conditioned Examination Hall named after the Father of Dentistry in India , Dr Rafiuddin Ahmed ( 1890-1965 ). Dentistry started in 1920 in India , and 2020 will be celebrated as 100 Years of Dentistry in our country. To commemorate this wonderful journey , GNIDSR dedicated & named this state of the art facility as Dr R. Ahmed Examination Hall.
The Hall has premium facilities for conduct of University Examinations with Live CCTV Feed and 360 Degree Vigilance as per academic and Dental Council of India guidelines. The SOUND proof environment ensures our students can write their examinations with zero disturbances and nuances. The institute under the aegis of West Bengal University of Health Sciences follows a transparent , well monitored and unbiased methodology for the conduct of its examinations. GNIDSR also serves as a centre for conduct of regional and state examinations other than its own.
